The Benefits of a Proper Colon Cleanse

As days go by, we consume more food and drink more liquids. Our stomachs convert them naturally to bodily waste that may be toxic to our bloodstream and might cause harm to our bodies. This implies that our intestines are dirty and this toxicity may cause health complications like: diabetes, kidney and liver problems, weight fluctuation, constipation, ear and eye problems, and also problems with the hair, nails and skin. What’s worse, it may also cause more serious illnesses such as arthritis, or even cancer.

So if one wants to reduce the chances of complications, one should consider colon cleansing. One part of the colon (40-50 centimetres) can be cleaned with an enema. However, this treatment is very expensive.

Then again, everyday ingestion of about three tablespoons of flaxseed flour for three weeks may clean the colon and rid the small intestine of mucus accumulated throughout the years. The use of flaxseed flour can also cause quicker fat-burning and weight normalisation. Furthermore, this flour also helps detoxify the body and lower the one’s cholesterol levels. It may also help with prevention of ulcer, obesity, cystitis and urinary tract diseases.

For optimum results, consume this in lieu of breakfast for three weeks:

 

  • Week 1: 1 tbsp. of flaxseed flour in 100 ml of kefir
  • Week 2: 2 tbsp. of flaxseed flour in 100 ml of kefir
  • Week 3: 3 tbsp. of flaxseed flour in 150 ml of kefir

 

If you are hesitant about consuming flax meals, you could instead use finely ground flaxseed. But do not make mixtures few days in advance, make a fresh mixture every morning and then eat it.

If you choose to use this method, you should also drink 2 to 3 litres of water every day. This colon cleansing procedure may only be done once a year.
