Earwax is a yellow substance produced inside the ear to protect it from harmful bacteria. Earwax is also defined as a natural lubricant for the whole ear and ear canal. But, often there are cases when its amount increases and it can cause annoying irritation and itching or it can damage your hearing. Sometimes it might cause you dizziness. So, as you can see, you have strong reasons to take care of ear hygiene.
This blockage usually happens as a result of using cotton swabs to clean your ears. But, did you know that they have the opposite effect? Actually, they push the earwax deeper into the ear canal. You should also know that people who often wear earplugs or headphones are exposed to a higher risk of accumulating too much of this substance.
We suggest you to follow the instructions for these solutions and remove the earwax with no side-effects.
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of salt in ½ cup of water. Next, soak a cotton ball in the solution. Now, you should drop a few drops in the ear while tilting the head on one side. Clean the draining liquid by using a tissue.
For this method, you should heat three tablespoons of paraffin oil over a candle flame. After that, drop a couple of drops into the ear and lie for a few minutes. And finally, rinse the remaining wax with warm water. Repeat this procedure for 3 days until you remove the earwax completely.
Make a mixture of equal amounts of hydrogen peroxide and water. Make sure you use 3% hydrogen peroxide. You will find it in pharmacies.
